My PSP spontaniously stopped working for a reason I am still unable to figure out. It worked fine, and then the next time I went to play it, it wouldn't even turn on. I tried charging it, using different batteries, and nothing has worked. What is the problem?
Hmmm... that sucks. Could be a fried power slide-switch. If no power is getting through the system, even when using the AC adaptor, it's probably something in the power chain.
It might be of benefit if you could try the battery and power adaptor in someone elses PSP, if they both work then it's probably something internal, and it's not unheard of for the power switches to go kaput.
If it's under warranty, take it back. If not, you'll need to have it checked out I think.

The reason might be that your psp has no power and your charger dosn't work. Next you just have to get another charger or something.
Another reason might be that your psp's battery pack is broken you just have to flip your psp over and by the power button there is a place you can take your battery pack out, next you just have to get another battery pack
I had the same problem till one day when my computer completely went off on closing it it could not boot I googled somewhere on this forum and found out that the reason it could not boot was the graphics chip that had loosened i had it re-soldered and the next time i turned it on the wireless was working fine so my suggestion to you is that you have your chips re-soldered you never know... what may happen am happily working with my wireless card now
I had exactly the same problem. After unsucessfully looking for a solution on the net I removed the simm chip and set it aside. The next day, I put it on PC usb charge and left it overnight. The next day, I powered it up and it worked. I turned it off and replaced the simm and it is now working fine. Go figure...
