Replacement Carafe for Kenmore KCM 12BR

Oh no! I just broke my carafe while doing dishes tonite and I'm in the process of trying to find information on a replacement. This does not sound encouraging. I really liked this coffee pot too. I finally learned how to make decent coffee with it. =(

Gevalia doesn't ahve a replacment carafe for their double 12 cup coffee maker. I just called them and they told me this.

had the same thing happen when my carafe broke. Mine is 238.69328 which is the black coffee maker. The simple solution is to head to Walmart and buy the GE replacement carafe. It's the 12 cup capacity one #169164. The box has 169180 on the bottom and it works like the old one and looks just as good no matter what color your coffee pot is. The cost-about $10.
