If you are having three red lights flashing around the power button with upper right corner not flashing, it means that your Xbox 360 is having a general hardware failure. This is caused by the internal components of the console experiencing a malfunction. You can contact Microsoft Xbox Support for it to be repaired.

My xbox turns on an as soon as the xbox 360 logo goes on screen it freezes its berly a 2 month old xbox

Are you getting the 'red ring of death' (the red ring that lights up around the power button)?
This could be either a problem with your television set, or more than likely an issue with the Xbox's harddrive.

Whenever I try to turn on my xbox 360 I get a red ring around the power button.

These red leds(also know as the red ring of death or RROD) around the power button is a way for the xbox to tell you that something is wrong. Different combinations usually have to do with different errors. I recommend that you send it to a repair shop or back to microsoft if the warranty is still good. Don't forget to give them any relevant information and which leds were flashing. Also an error code would help them alot.

We can not connect the controlers to the xbox 360 but they will connect to others can you help with this problem??? we recently got it fixed because it had a red ring

Turn your system on and turn the controllers on, when the controllers are blinking the four green lights, press the small white button to the right of the second memory card slot. The 4 green rings around the power button with rotate clockwise. Now press the small white button next to the left bumper on the controller. Both the system rings and the ones on the controller will blink in unison and that controller will be connected to that system. Repeat for as many controllers as you have. Hope this helps.

Trying to turn xbox on and getting blinking red ring around power button

This problem is often called the Red ring of Death.

It's actually very common and is caused by a hardware malfunction that causes the system to overheat.

There are 2 ways to fix this problem: 1) Send it to Microsoft (if your warranty is expired it will cost $110)

2) Fix it at home by taking the system apart and repairing the malfunction. This can be daunting, but is actually easier than it sounds. I recommend having a look at these 2 sites:

One flashing red light on xbox360 ( not red ring)

The specific type of hardware failure can be determined by a "hidden" error code
Turn the xbox 360 on, and wait till the 3 red lights are flashing.
Press and hold the sync up button (the small white one), while holding that button press the eject button.
The LEDs will now blink the first number in the code (as described below).
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the second number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the third number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will now blink the forth number of the code.
Release the eject button and press it again.
The LEDs will go back to the 3 red flashing lights.
You should be able to determine the difference between the 3 flashing lights and the error code lights by the rate in which they flash.
Here is how you interpret the LEDs to get the code number:
All four lights flashing - 0
One light flashing - 1
Two Lights flashing - 2
Three lights flashing - 3

Once you get this code, go to: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=484726
To get the reason for the code.

MY Power Supply light is blinking orange and xbox 360 want turn on

I hate it when people put "Red ring of Death" for a ORANGE flashing light on the power bar and actually a red ring on the front of the Xbox (which then would mean the red ring of death)!

I just fixed this problem for a friend. They had a contoller charging lead plugged in to the front which had a bad connection in it. Thats all it was so I just unplugged the charging lead and it worked.

So Unplug everything except the power and see if it works 1st, if it does then plug things back in one by one and see when it starts to flash and thats your problem lead there.

Problem with Power supply

No, The best thing to do is unplug the power supply completely. Every cord from every cord. Then plug everything in back together. The power supply does this to protect the Xbox from surging internally. If this occurs, the whole system would be fried.

Your xbox had gotten the red ring of death. If you send it to microsoft and its in warrenty they will fix it or send you a brand new one. You have to go to there website, and they will ask you for a bunch of info, it will say if its in warrenty or not and if it is they will send you a box to mail it to them in.

Won't load game keeps blinkng red light

If the XBOX 360 is blinking the color RED in three of the four quarter of the ring around the power button, you will have to contact Microsoft for a replacement. This is what is known as "Red Ring of Death." You can find plenty of information on it if you Google it.

Click HERE for a video of the Red Ring of Death.

Click HERE for Microsoft's support system for the XBOX 360 and get in touch with Microsoft to get your replacement started.

It's the ONLY way.

Good luck.
