For two memory modules to work together they need to be the same speed. For example PC2-4200 module will not work correctly with PC2-3200. This website provides program that will scan your RAM and tell you exactly what you need. http://www.crucial.com/uk/systemscanner/index.aspx Download the scanner and run it. Once it's finished it will show you page with results. On the bottom of this page you have information about currently installed RAM. Buy one to go with it and you should be back on your track. If you have th eOperating system disk, you can re-install from scratch - but that will lose your documents - so you should back them up to DVD.

Update the drivers for the wireless card.

try going to the web site and typing in all the info thy request ..you should be able to find the driver

You can not add 2 gig to that laptop.
It only goes up to 1.25 Gig

Enter the first recovery cd, and choose the option to format the hard drive and install a fresh copy of windows. Then enter the second recovery cd when it asks. It should have an option of formatting the drive when you put in the recovery cds. There is not that much that can go wrong, since you want to delete everything anyway. Hope that helps :).

Acer has a reset switch right next to the RAM. Only have to open up your RAM plate and hit the reset switch.
