You need to know what frequency the computer is outputing. That monitor will take a wide variety of inputs. And, your application can change the output as well. You can check the two links I provided, and HP will have some recomendations, possibly pricey, but they'll work.
Some multisync monitors will display the input frequency is when it comes on. Try connecting the monitor when the application is running, and when it's just on but idle. If it has a menu screen (monitor), open that and some have the current frequency being used listed. With those two ranges, you should have a starting point.
