Try resetting the hardware by following these steps:
1) With the console powered off, hold A+B. 2) Power up the console while still holding A+B. 3) As soon as the Nintendo screen is displayed, before our screen stating this product is not endorsed by Nintendo, press and hold Start and Select while keeping hold of A+B. 4) Continue to hold these buttons until the Main Action Replay screen is displayed, then release. Your product is reset, and will accept codes once more.
Unfortunately, something may be shorting out at the hinges causing the DS to shut down automatically. It is probably a ribbon cable damage. Try contacting Nintendo to try to get it fixed.
I hope this helps! Thumbs up are always welcome.
Hi, The Ds microphone is relatively straight forward to replace and can be bought on eBay etc if you wished to fix it yourself. Alternatively if you contact a local DS retailer they will be able to put you in contact with nintendo who will fix it for a fee.
I don't know of anyway to bypass the activities in any games reliant on the microphone.
That sounds like your DS lite have a lose circuit part rolling inside so thats why it cant turn on.
You need to open the console, recover the lose part from the inside and resolder it in its place (usually near the power switch, marked as L2). That should fix the problem, if not then you might have blown fuses, lose screens ribbon cables or broken LCD screens. All of these repairs are discussed in other questions here.
Hi! I just bought my ds lite. but the thing is, there is no option in most of the games to save it. how do you do that? and also, how do you change games? like in PSP, you just quit after saving, in DS, what we do is just turn it off..how do you do that? help!
