All of a sudden my camera won't zoom in anymore. I tried using the rollerball and the volume keys but nothing happens. It worked 2 days ago and now it just stopped working. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks...
Yes this is correct. It's a software change so it needs to reconnect with the server to download the new software. This can be done by taking out the battery while turned on, like someone already said. When it powers back on the camera will work. Thanks for all the help...Yes this is correct. Thanks guys! I was about to take my BB in for service b/c of this! Glad I found your solution online...worked like a charm! I had tried turning my phone off/on, but didn't think of a battery pull.

The first time this happened to me - I took the battery out - when put back in the zoom worked again. After a while the zoom stopped working and just now my rollerball wouldn't scroll down. I tried the solution posted about taking the battery out and doing a figure of 8 with phone facing down on a printed page - it fixed both problems. I hope this helps.
Hi guys I have the solution. I think all your trackballs are stuck. If you cant move it, take the silver ring off with a knife, take off the trackball and put rubbing alcohol on it wth a Q - tip until it works. Can some1 help me? My problem is titled My blackberry pearl wont load up.
It seems that the lense element which mooves while zooming the camera is stucked. normally this happens when the camera suffers a heavy jery, may be by dropping the camera. Resulting into disalingment of the lense assambly. You will need the help of repair shop to solve the problem.
