I am unable to get the blending cup out of my Bella Cucina Rocket blender. I recently purchased this have and only used this a few times including once just before the ''cup'' stuck. It appears to have locked the blending cup into the base.

Hi! I just had the same problem and actually called the service number that came with the rocket blender. The lady on the phone said that the plastic cup must have expanded (from heat), and to stick it in the refrigerator for 24 hours until the plastic shrinks back down to normal. After the 24 hours the cup should be able to come off. Kind of makes sense, but I hope it works!

This has happened to me twice in two months. Both times it was my fault because I left it running for too long and the motor got too hot. Just leave it to cool off for 10-15 mins and you should be able to get the cup out. Putting in the fridge for 24 hrs seems EXTREME. Just have to let the motor cool down. I thought it had to be running to remove also, but this last time, I was able to unscrew it without it running. Don't let it run for more than 2 mins at a time and it probably won't happen.

This happens when the blade is not fully screwed to the cup. It happened to me twice and had my DH get it out from the base for me.

Unable to fit. Cup into base of rocket blender

I had this exact same problem and was scratching my head why would that happen all of a sudden. After taking it completely apart (which I didn't need to), I realized in the end that the cup rim was stuck at the bottom of the blender base. It looked like a part of the base what got me confused the first place. The base of the blender is flat with no ridges around; check if this is the same problem with yours.

Cup is stuck to the base since Tuesday, now Friday. Have tried everything I know to loosen it

I had the same problem. Put the entire thing in the refrigerator for 24 hours so the plastic can shrink back down to the right size. Basically it got overheated and the plastic cup expanded. That's what the service people told me to do, and I'm in the process of trying that out! Hope it works, and good luck!
