Keypad tone Just received my replacement phone back from o2 and the keypad tone isn't lit up for me to turn off the tones?? any clues?

If you're hearing a noise or a tone whenever you text then ill be advising you to check the tone settings on your phone.It might be that the KEYPAD TONE in your phone is enabled.
If you want to adjust the volume of youe keypad tone then you can just go to SETTINGS.And after that please go to TONES/TONE SETTINGS and kindly look for KEYPAD TONE.You can lower down or turn off the volume of the keypad tone on that option. If you have another kind of phone then you can try looking for small buttons on the side of the phone. You can press the "Down" button to lower the key volume. Please press it repeatedly to continue lowering the volume. Press "Up" button if you decide to turn the key tones back on.

When you make call use the left and right square key for increasing or decreasing volume.

John, Go to Tools->Settings->Tones->Keypad. Here you will fine two options for keypad. Keypad Tones On or Off and Keypad Volume. Please use both.

go to your current profile and to edit, there you can find the warning tones and keypad tones levels, you can adjust there, else go to tone settings..

In the main screen, press the volume button on the side. It will open up the volume control on the screen. Set it to zero and thats it. It will turn off the keypad tone.

To turn off the beep on the keypad beep or voice on an LG Xenon, go to menu; settings; sound; volume. From there you can raise or lower the volume or mute the keypad and other sounds.

Menu> settings> phone settings > phone profiles> phone sounds> Keypad tone> off.

you must use a ac adapter which the phone doesnt come with or 3 double A batteries

Change the dialing font style to Normal and then set off keypad tones on setting menu.
