My son brought a disk set over the Internet he has tried to play it on his X Box, DVD Player (he has also typed in the area free region code) and the computer after a short time the disks go fuzzy and they freeze. I have just been told by a computer tec that the DVD set is for region 1 and will not play here in Australia. Is this true and what can be done about getting another set that will play here. Up to now we have sent 4 emails to this company and received no replies. I would have thought that an overseas company would know what region Australia is in and would have sent the approporiate disk set.

for DVDs you are in region 4, america is in region 1
the only other region that it would play from is south america
so it will not work untill you find a dvd player that plays DVDs from all regions
i would try and get your money back from the company and say it doesnt work (act dumb) dont go saying its wrong region. just say it doesnt work
and if you want to watch the DVD buy it from austrailia

Thanks for that fkuk that is what happens with 14 yr olds. What anoys me though is the lack of contact from the company. If no luck after a couple more tries I am sure they would love their web site plastered over Face book, and a few other sites as to there bad service.
