Was watching TV and teh screen turned to a reddish screen when I changed the station. You can hear the TV and the header (channel info) shows up in all the right colors when you change a channel
Rear projection TVs require a light bulb (found on the right hand side of TV behind a small screw fixed panel) and this, like any bulb needs replacing from time to time. You need to get it changed by a repair guy or get a bulb yourself and do it. They're quite expensive though, £200 last I heard I think.
Go to this site, follow the instructions, and it might fix your problems. I did, and my tv is better than ever!

I turned on my TV, waited for a warm up session, and then I heard a loud "POP", I then lost the picture. I turned it off and waited for a minute or so, then turned it on again but nothing came on, the red problem light came on and I knew there was something wrong.
My assunption was that I list a bulb. My question to anyone out there is; I hear that the bulbs are very expensive. Is this true?? And if so, what is the ball park to buy one and changing it myself to save the extra buck???
