Remove the battery and memory card, switch the power switch on for a few seconds and then switch it off. Make sure the battery is fully charged, re-insert the battery and try to switch on again without the memory card in.
Hi, That blue screen and shut down, means a problem on both OS and Hardisk. If you got any hardisk for that laptop. try it and am sure it will work. The faint beep means a good memory card.
im sorry to hear this and there is 1 way to get it to work again and when u want to turn on your ps3 what to do is hold the on/off switch and dont let go till you hear a beep and thats fixed it for me when that happened and also there is a second way delete that agme data and then start over
Try 2 things....1) replace the IDE controller cord or the SATA cord whichever applies. If this doesn't fix the prob try downloading latest mobo updates as well as any Acer updates for your specific model. Let me know if any of this works.
i had same problem today, it had locked up during deal/no deal unplugged it three times nothing happened, wouldn't switch on unplugged again left it for 5 minutes then plugged in and left alone for 15mins plus lights flasing then evetually green light went all ok
This is a laser problem. Blu-ray drives use a laser with a magnifying lens, and any dust on them at all will cause problems. These lasers are also known to fail and cost around $50 for a new one on ebay. You can also do a fan test to blow out your system. this works much better than using an air compressor. To do this, turn off the power switch on the back of your console, hold your finger on the eject button, then flip the power switch on the back of the system to the "on" position. When the fan comes on release the eject button. The fan should then go into overdrive and run hard for about 20-30 seconds. Keep in mind, if your system is pretty dirty this is going to blow dust all over everything around it,
so do it away from other electronics! Good luck...
