Run a service test for kitchenaid dishwasher

Did you check behind the toe-kick panel for the tech data sheet? Assuming that you have checked and that it is missing, there here is the "secret keystrokes" that will make most Whirlpool/ KitchenAid/Kenmore/Maytag diswashers enter the diagnostic cycle:
Heated Dry - Normal - Heated Dry - Normal; or
High Temp - Air Dry - High Temp - Air Dry; or
Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry, Hi Temp Scrub, Energy Saver Dry; or
High Temp Wash, Heated Dry, High Temp Wash, Heated Dry.

Note: On some of the newer Whirlpool, Kenmore, KitchenAid dishwashers, you start the diagnostic cycle by rapidly pressing the 3 left-most keys in the following sequence: 1 2 3, 1 2 3, 1 2 3.

The oven runs too hot...even at lower temps

If the oven is in temp runaway and just gets hotter and hotter, always on, then there is a failed component. If the temp is just somewhat hotter but is still being controlled then there is a user temp offset procedure to calibrate the oven temp. See your user manual. If a failed component it can be several things from a oven temp probe to the oven controller. There are electrical checks to determine which including reading the resistance of the temp probe at a known oven temp and checking this with a oven probe temp vs resistance chart.

KitchenAid Gas Range Model KGRT: Oven temp won't go past 260 degrees. When a higher temp is typed into keypad, it gives me an "err" mesage.

replace the oven safety sensor located in the upper left corner of the oven cavity, its merely a thermocouple and cycles the temp in the oven and is easily replaceable, its a whirlpool part # AP3083985 available from most appliance parts stores that handle whirlpool parts,as this unit is produced by whirlpool corp. for kitchenaid corp.

A code of E2 F3 came up and beeped while I had a roast in the oven.

F3 E2
9 Bake range over temperature At room temperature, sensor resistance should be 1K to 1.1K. If not, replace the sensor. If the sensor checks okay, replace the control. Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly

^-^----This is what the error chart says.(top) Most of the time the problem is the oven temp sensor and NOT the Range Control. One some models this is saying that the oven exceeded 965 deg with the door closed. Same thing... Temp Sensor problem.

Since you did not include your model number I can not at this time help you with parts information. If you respond with a model number I can provide you with on-line sources for the temp sensor.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

I have a KitchenAid double oven with convection on the top and conventional on the bottom (model #KEBC207KBL0). When I set the temperature and preheat the top oven, the display shows the temperature rising...

it will either be the sensor or the board, hopefully it's not the board, the part number for the sensor is 4455636 and subs to w10131825,the sensor is around 100 bucks, there should be a tech sheet on the machine most likely behind the touch pad on the top,it will tell you how to check the sensor with a meter, just unplug the sensor and read it out i think it's around 1100 ohms but check that on the tech sheet,if it's not the sensor most likely it will be the board part number 4453661 and that's around 300 buckseverything runs through this computer board but the sensor tells it how hot it is in the oven hopefully you have a bad sensor.let me know what you find, you'll most likely have to pull the oven to repair it but maybe just enough to get the top open, good luck

My oven will not go higher than 250 degrees. Not sure what is going on

this is normally a faulty electronic control board and should be replaced. But you can check the resistance on the temp probe
