I have a Kenmore elite dryer, and the signal cycle keeps beeping and the light switches from on to off with every beep...it does it about 6-8 times then may wait 20 seconds to 5 mins b4 it does it again. Help its very annoying.

My Kenmore Elite dryer keeps beeping..just going through the end of cycle alarm-high,low,off...anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Celine, I just experienced the same exact problem. I came here looking for a solution. I got mine to stop by holding down the cycle signal button for 3 seconds, releasing it for three seconds, and repeating until both lights (loud and soft) went off. Hope it helps.

okay, kenmore elite have had these problems so often, you need to replaced the touchpad, not the board, jjust the touchpad, it cost around $150.00.

okay, this same problem happen to kenmore elites, the touch panel will automatically come on and beep even when it suppose to be off, replaced not the board but the touch panel and you will be okay.

4 Beeps/E40--Error: Door is open. Cause: Washer will not operate if door is open. Close door.
5 Beeps/E50--Error: Motor is overheated. Cause: Wait 30 minutes to cool down. Restart.
7 Beeps/E70--Error: Cold water doesn't enter. Cause: Hoses crossed,faucet problem.
15 Beeps/EF0--Error: Oversudsing. Cause: Too much detergent,or improper detergent for machine.
15 Beeps/EF0--Error: Hot water doesn't enter. Cause: Hoses crossed,faucet problem.

Hi, the the glowing igniter does not functioning need to replace / the sensor tip will send signal to computer box that the glowing are busted.

check vents and venting. sounds like a controller problem and unfortunatly there are no resets for that type of problem
