When I push the button on my american standard jacuzzi tub I hear the hum of the motor but jets don't come on

In my case I took the motor out and used a screw driver to turn the impeller in the front of the pump and the fins inthe back. Put it back together and it worked. I then used 2 tablesoons of dishwashing detergent and 1/2 cup bleach and ran it for 20 minutes to clean and degrease the impellers

Fill tub, press button, hear motor but no bubbles, etc coming from jets

Are the jets open? The center of the jets turn to adjust the pressure of the jets. If this is not the problem, there may be a problem with the impeller in the pump assembly. If you here the pump turning and not buzzing, it could be an air bubble in the suction tube. This tube is the one coming from the front of the pump, if the pump is higher than the tube coming from the tub, or if there is a high spot in the tube, an air bubble is a real possibility. If the tube is level with the pump, there should be no problem with air bubbles and the problem lies in the top part of this paragraph.

do it when engine is cold,

  1. Ignation ON,
  2. switch the heater at mix temperature untill you finish the bleeding procedure
  3. loos the bleeder screw located on top of upper radiator hose,
  4. fill coolant and observe the coolant coming out from bleeder screw if no more bubbles coming out from bleeder screw close it. do not close the coolant filler cap.
  5. Start the engine, rev up 2500- 3000 rpm (constant rev) observe the coolant jet from coolant filler nick and mike sure no bubbles flowing from jet. then close tha cap if you see no more bubbles.

Bubbles coming out of jets

Only one way to get bubbles and that is by introducing air into the stream most likely there is a leak in the plumbing this kind of leak only leaks air when there is suction. if you are losing no water then you have a suction side leak. WHich is strange because the heatr is not on the suction side.

American standard jacuzzi tub will not work. motor hums but jets do not come on

is this a new install? if so you may need to adjust the air intake. Or if you have kids they may have messed with the settings. If the air is closed all the way off....no bubbles.

I try to print but the paper comes out blank, I just bought the cartridges today, but I really dont know what happenes.

If you've replaced the cartridges and still the printer comes out with blank paper, then what has happened, depending if it is an inkjet or bubble jet, is that the pump or heating element (in a inkjet it is a pump and in bubble jet the ink is heated up in the tank to produce bubbles of ink that transfer to the paper. When you do get a replacement, hold up a piece of paper printed from a bubble jet printer.

If the printer is not under warranty, then don't bother for the repair.

If it is a laser printer, what may have happened is the wire that charges to the drum in transferring the image to it is not working.

Aquglass jet tub will only humm no bubbles out of none of the jet

When a motor hums, it usually is the result of what is called "locked rotor." This can occur when the motor's brushes remain on one pair of the commutator contacts. The magnetic field does not shift to the next set of windings and the rotor is locked in place by the unchanging magnetic field.

If you have access to the motor, turn on the power briefly and place your hand gently on the side of the motor. Probably you will feel the vibration of the hum you are hearing, together with some heat. In locked-rotor condition, the motor draws high amperage and heats up quickly. Turn off the power.

If this is the condition, the motor is shot and needs to be replaced. You should copy down the information from the name plate (model and serial number, manufacturer, horsepower, amperage, etc.) and contact the manufacturer or a local appliance parts store about a replacement.

As you said that you recently bought the house, you may have a home-owners warranty which may cover the appliance.
