Question about Logitech Cordless Click! Mouse

Open Question

I have a MX Revolution mouse and it is not working. I have tried charging it up but that hasn't worked. When the mouse is in the charger cradle there are two red lights on the side flashing. Can you tell me what to do? I have also taken the USB thing out and put it back into my computer. I think my computer automatically reinstalled the driver for the mouse but I can't tell for sure because I can't do anything without a mouse. I have restarted my computer a number of times. Thanks.

SOURCE: Mouse stops responding randomly

The issue may not necessarily be with the mouse. Are you able to use the keyboard once the mouse freezes? If you not even able to use the keyboard, there is some application installed on your computer or a virus due to which the mouse freezes. If, in case, the keyboard works even though the mouse is stuck, try changing the USB port or try a different mouse. Please revert back with any other observations. Good Luck

SOURCE: Cordless MX DUO charger

try removing the batteries from the mouse and place it in the cradle. If the light lights up or flashes, there can't be a problem with the base station contacts. I have the same problem, but I think the problem is inside the mouse.

SOURCE: Wireless Mouse gets stuck

Take a eraser and use it to rub the contact points on your batteries clean. This seems to be the issue where your sensiativity will change by it self the the mouse has a 20 - 30 pause to reset it's self as if you just stuck a different battery in it.

SOURCE: Mx revolution mouse

make sure it's clean where the light sensor is. Dustbust it or something. otherwise I'd say it's dead.

SOURCE: Flahsing Red Light

Now what you have to do is look for a reset button on your mouse and your wireless mouse signal receiver.
When the receiver and mouse both are on press the reset button on both of them one by one.
This should solve the problem.

I assume you are using usb socket to charge mouse. The voltage on a USB is 5volts , you may have a problem here. It may not be producing the correct voltage. Or you may have a problem with your cradle. I would suggest you see a repair person and get them to look at the USB voltage and the Mouse cradle..
Hope this helps.

New mouse wont connect....

This is a common problem, go to the Logitech website (www.logitech.com) and download the Reconnect utility. Follow the steps given to you in the software and it should work fine! If not, is the mouse fully charged?

Go to bestbuy or wallmart and get the mouse repaired or buy a new one. Its better you get a new one because the cost of repairing will be expensive
