The water line in the door is frozen . Several ways to thaw . 1 ) turn on the dispensor light for a few daws until thawed , 2 ) raise the freezer temp a few days until thawed , 3 ) use compressed air to the bottom of the door on the line , to blow out the ice , 4 ) order the GE dispensor heater pt. # WR49X10173 , it comes with installation instructions .

Why won't the water come out of the in-door water dispenser? Why won't my ice maker make ice?

Be thoughtful of any water leaks. Water leaking beneath the machine will damage floors.

If both the ice maker and water dispenser are not working it is likely the feed connection from the wall to the unit. The hose/ copper tube can get kinked or the valve at the connection at the wall internally plugged. Close off the water at the wall and using a catch remove the connection at the unit open the valve at the wall and confirm the that water flows freely through.

Check the filter of the water located usually at the front grill near the floor. If the filter is removed the water connection will buipass the filter.

It is not likely with both the ice maker and water dispensor that both electrical solenoid valves have failed.

That is the inlet water solenoid you hear click. The water maybe frozen somewhere in the hose. You can check for water getting through the solenoid valve by pulling the hose off going to the freezer and have someone push the dispense button while you hold a towel to catch the water coming out of the solenoid. If that works, then the hose is frozen or clogged.

The outside door water does not work

Can I assume the ice and water are activated by two different switches? The ice switch activates the motor that dispenses ice. The water switch activates a solenoid that opens to dispense water. If you can, find the solenoid and make sure it's not stuck closed (tapping it with a screwdriver handles usually help persuade it a bit). I would tap the solenoid while pushing the water button. Listen for the solenoid to activate. If you can't activate the solenoid, find the switch and depress it with a small screwdriver. Usually, these switches are just simple little microswitches that need a little cleaning and coaxing

Frigidaire FSC23F7DSB0 Dispensing Water Causes Ice Tray Overflow

Computer board?...doubt it. This sounds like two solenoids (an electro-magnet that when energized sucks into it a mechanism, water valve etc)...the 2 solenoids might be sharing the same connection.

The two solenoids are "separate devices" and usually behind the fridge at the bottom. One is for water on the door and the other the ice maker triggers...although they might look like one whole solenoid as sometimes the water feed runs through it to feed the other. They are still "electrically separate."Look for something that got bumped / wire terminals touched together.

KSCS25FJSS01 - The water dispenser line from the solenoid is cracked about 18 inches from the solenoid, before it enters the back of the fridge. It seems easy enough to fix as long as i can get some 5/16...

Good day,
The line runs from the solenoid, into the fresh food compartment where a cooling tank is located behind the crispers, where it is precooled so your dispenser doesn't feed you warm water.
It then comes back out and travels to the door.

The water dispencer dribbles the water out.

The water hose coil is to chill the drinking water coming out of the dispenser. If the water drips out it could be a bad solenoid valve since the water dispenser requires power to dispenser water. If the Ice maker is working fine then check the dispenser water solenoid valve.

Ice and Water not dispensing. Light button not working

INSIDE THE DISPENSER ASSEMBLY IS A SEPARATE ELECTRONIC BOARD THAT CONTROLS THE DISPENSER.
OCCASIONALLY, THE DOOR SOLENOID OR THE CUBE ICE SOLENOID WILL SHORT OUT CAUSING A BURNOUT OF THE DISPENSER CONTROL BOARD. CHECK FOR A BURNT SMELL COMING FROM THE DISPENSER HOUSING. IF YOU SMELL IT, THE BOARD AND/OR SOLENOID NEED TO BE REPLACED.
