Please make sure that usb drivers are installed properly in the system.
To check, please perform the following steps.
To open device manager perform following steps:
Click Start, click run and type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
or

Click Start , enter device in the search field and select Device Manager from the list The Device Manage window opens.

Now, once you are in the device manager, check it there is a yellow exclamation mark on Universal Serial Bus Controllers. If it is not expanded then expand and see if it has any exclamation mark.
If you find this yellow mark, then you may have to reinstall the drivers. USB drivers for the notebook are part of the chipset. If necessary, the USB drivers required by the notebook can be reinstalled from Application recovery.
If you do not see Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Then check in BIOS if computer is able to detect it. To check in BIOS, please perform following steps:
Restart the computer and when the first screen displays press F10 repeatedly until the setup screen displays.
Use the Left Arrow and Right Arrow keys to select the Advanced tab. Now use the Up andDown Arrow keys to select Legacy USB Support .
Press Enter , select Enabled , and then press Enter . Press F10 to save settings and exit.

Hello how can i put on the webcam in my hp 6735s?

First of all, do you have the software (CD) for the Webcam?
If you do, Install it.reboot you computer. When windows is all booted up, at the back of your should be a few USB ports. Plug it in and windows will see it and initiate the software.
Usually the software leave one or two icons on the desktop

Hp 6735s was used last night and shut down properly but this morning turning it on the system continue booting without displaying anything on the screen which makes it blank / black........ Please I need...

If there is a display switch in the functions on the keyboard (most likely will look like a laptop monitor or a computer monitor on the keyboard). Press the function key and the button associated with that and wait 3 to 4 seconds (you may have to press it multiple times) If you have anything in the vga slot, then it may think a monitor is plugged in and won't display the laptop screen.
If none of the above work, then maybe your computer is having a systematic failure, or the screen connector is loose.

My computer is giving me no sound, it periodically gives a bit of sound.but at the control panel it sas that the soundmax soundcard is working.its an HP 6735s

Hello...
Full details about sound issue in my website...
www.sureshayyar.110mb.com (Support page)

As an alternative u can do this (i am using this solution till date)

If u cant install the sound driver correctly, just buy a " USB Sound Adaptor" and connect it to the USB port and connect the speaker sound jack to the sound port in this adaptor....u will get back the sound....also keep in mind that u " may " have to disable onboard sound in BIOS, u may also have to make changes in the Control Panel / Sound and Audio Devices / Audio Tab / Sound Playback option... Click the drop down button and select the "USB Audio Devices/Headset"

You can get it in Ebay for $1 to $4 or google it to locate a place near u......

This is the one i am refering to(I bought it in Ebay for 1$)....u can buy something similar also....there are many available mfd from China, just plug and play on your USB port....

If you find this solution useful please leave a feedback and rating to this solution.

Regards....
All the best, my dear friend....350410f.jpg

HP Compaq 6735s battery light orange blinking

Have you tried another power cord? If you try another power cord, and it still does the same thing, then I think your laptop is having a power problem. You need to take is to a technician to fix the problem for you.

Best wishes.
