GE PSC23NSWSS Profile Counter-depth 23.2 Cu. Ft. Stainless Side-by-Side Refrigerator Logo
Posted on May 08, 2010

I have a GE Profile side by side with water and ice in the freezer door, it is about 3 1/2 years old. The water was barely coming out of the dispenser, I changed the water filter and it is not any better - maybe worse and I have let it run for close to 5 minutes

We had this problem on our own fridge at home. it turned out the plastic lines which feed these appliances liable to fill up with lime and calcium which will restrict water flow. take a look at getting a new line.

something else to look at. is the tube getting kinked when you push the fridge into postion?

let me know if this helps. [email protected]

GE Profile PSS26PSTA SS freezer problem

Forget the warranty - it is only for the compressor and that is usually five years. Did you check for freezer temp - wet cubes indicates too warm up there. Water dispenser lines may be clogged.

If low temps you may have low refrigerant or a defrost mechanism not working - if not working there should be ice buildup on line entering the evaporator in back of compartment.

GE Side By Side Ice Machine & Water dispenser not getting water

you may have a pin hole in your water line to your dispenser or you could be leaking at the water valve itself on the water dispenser side. you'll have to pull the refrigerator out from the wall and look where the main water line goes into the back of the refrigerator. you will probably have to take the back off to see. be sure you put the back of the refrigerator back when you are through.

NO DRINKING WATER

common problem the water line inside the freezer door is frolzen up . to fix remove everthing from the freezer door , turn off freezer . open freezer door and put a blanket over the opening to the freezer leaveing the door to room temp for an hour or so to defrost . check if defrosted . remove blanket close door . this will happen with ge , try seyying the freezer control on the next lower number (warmer)

Not getting water from dispenser in door

The connector that is leaking is bad causing tubing to come out and leak. The reason it won't flow is it is iced up inside of the door and no, unfortunately, you can't disassemble the door to get to it. It requires a door replacement. The connector is part number WR02X10471 from www.geappliances.com or GE Factory Service Parts at 1-800-626-2002

Front dispenser On GE stainless side by side

Could be the connector at the bottom of the freezer door corroded but it could also be the main PCB failing as the low voltage power supply may be dropping out . By the 'light inside' do you mean in the dispenser or inside the fridge ??
