Silly question, I know

Okay, I promise I'm much smarted than my question will make me seem, but I purchased this handheld and after putting the battery in the device, I cannot get it to turn on. Is there some trick to turning it on that is not in the manual?

I've been moving the "Hold" button back and forth and I'm not getting a response from the device.

Upper tension when sewing fleece

This seems silly to ask but are you remembering to put down the foot? Try re-threading the upper thread with the foot raised... then try again. Make sure that your thread spool isn't catching the thread in that little thread keeper slot. Also make sure it isn't spooling in such a way that it wraps extra lines of thread around the spool pin. Also make sure you are using a Needle designed for sewing fleece.

Shut off car tried to restart would not restart no fuel

Seems silly but did you check gas level first? If okay then probably either fuel filter or pump. Possibly a fuse or relay as well. Do you hear a whirring sound when moving the key from off to run? If so pump is probably okay. I would change the fuel filter then. Good lucj. Let mme know if I be of further assistance

My 755 won't turn on sticks on verison screen

okay i think i know how to solve this because it also happened to me.. okay first take the battery out and see if there is a red dot on the battery

RED DOT--- okay if there is a red dot then it got wet. thats how it died. take it to the Verizon store and they can fix it

NO Red DOT-- okay this means that you DID NOT get it wet. take the battery out and shake it ( i know it sounds silly but trust me on this), After you shake it put it back in the phone and shake the phone. it should work.

AND IF ALL OF THESE DIDN'T WORK... then go to the verizon store a get a new battery.

Promise SATA300 TX2 Plus PCI controller card compatibility

Southbridge shouldn't matter as that is the controller for audio.
As the supported intel chipset is listed there should be no conflicts.

Possible dead battery, but I'd like to be sure

This may sound silly, but make sure you didn't accidently spin the little wheel on the side thus, turning the screen down so low that it can no longer be seen.

I've had several co-workers do this and coming running to me to say they broke it... silly, but common.
