If your phone gets wet. Turn it off immediately and remove the battery. Let it dry out naturally for quite a long period. this can be aided by leaving the back of the case off and the battery out.
If an attempt is made to power the player on before it is dry, the probability is that it will short out inside and never work again.
There is a phone on the market that will work under water but I can't remember the make.
Immediately remove the phone from the water,
turn off the cell phone, remove the battery and SIM card. To dry out the cell
phone put it in a large plastic bag with silica gel drying crystals then put it
in a warm sunny place for several days or in front of a warm fan heater for
several hours. Reassemble the phone and hope it will work properly again, but
if does not work then it is faulty and you need a new cell phone.

Well it depends on the type of screen you have in the phone. Some have edges that can split open and lose the fluid that projects the picture so your best bet is to just replace the phones screen, if every thing else works fine
If your phone ever gets wet, DO NOTHING until it drys. If you let it completely dry before trying to use it again, it should work just fine. it's when u turn the phone on when it's wet that ruins it.
