Solution A: If you using McAfee Antivirus, the following steps will configure SiteAdvisor to stop monitoring windows live messenger. Go try solution B if you are NOT using McAfee Antivirus.
1. Navigate to the following folder:
Windows XP/2000/Vista (32-bit): C:\Program Files\McAfee\SiteAdvisor
Windows Vista (64-bit): C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\SiteAdvisor
2. Right-click on the file sasets.ini and choose Open With, then select Notepad.
3. Locate the section titled [msnmsgr.exe].
4. Change Enabled=1 to Enabled=0.
5. Click File and select Save.
6. Close sasets.ini and restart your computer for changes to take effect.

Solution B: I am using XP with NOD32, using the latest version 2009 (Build 14.0.8117.416) and here is the solution that works for me,
1. Sign off and Exit messenger
2. Go to C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger
3. Right click on file "msnmsgr.exe", select "Properties", a new window of msnmsgr.exe Properties will pop up.
4. Under "Compatibility" tab, look for "Compatibility mode", if the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for" is checked and show window 2000. Go ahead un-check it.
5. Open messenger again and try to test the video call.

1. Uninstall your Yahoo Messenger
2. After uninstall completed go to My Computer - Program Files and delete Yahoo folder.
3. Install again Yahoo Messenger from www.yahoo.com
4. Install latest adobe Flash player from www.adobe.com
5. Install latest JRE version from http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
6. In a command prompt window type command: del %temp%\*.* /f /s /q
7. Restart your computer.

After all of this if your problem continues check for operating system errors.

I suggest emailing lexmark and telling them u need a disc for a Lexmark X2550 printer. Maybe tell em yours didnt come with one when u bought it and be firm...or you can continue to try and download it from the internet.
