Deisel fuel getting to injector pump. Feul also getting to pump bleeder. No feul getting to injector lines or return line even as engine is being cranked. Machine is a 530 case construction king. Tractor has set for 2 years and was running when shut down. The feul line filters (2) have been replaced. Is there a screen in the injector pump? Any ideas?? Any diagrams for reference?

You prabably have an airlock inside the injector lines.
Disconnect two lines and crank again,this will push out the air so fuel can get to the injectors.once the fuel comes out reconnect the lines and it should start

check the fuseable links arround the starter
somtimes they seperate when they over heat and the ruber contracts when they cool down
if they are cooked they will pull apart fairly easily when hot

Hi there I have a Renault Magane 2 2004 1.6 the problem id I had to replace the feul tank now qhen I try to start the vehicle it just turns it is as if the feul do not reach the injectors

have you pressurise the fuel line, using the valve on the injection rail this will need pressing in if its the valve type or removing and then turn key to prime the line. but be aware fuel will come out. ones its primed the fuel return valve should operate and be working fine then. might have to do the vale 2 0r 3 times just to make sure any air is out of the system. if the fuel does not come out then the pump is not feeding the line and will need checking.

1989 chevy truck with a 350 ci motor won't start or get gas to carburetor. I put in a new feul pump & filter. It also has new injectors.

Hi, if you fitted new pump have you checked that it is functioning,are the fuel lines clear of detritus. The fuel lines may be blocked somewhere. Girst thing is probably to check the pump works and is pumping petrol tpwards engine compartment.If it does then there is, obviously an issue between the pump and the carb.

How to check fuel getting to engine

First locate the fuel tank then from there two small fuel lines head towards the front one of them will be connected to fuel injectors which is return pipe leve it as it is. Other one is the main pipe which goes through water seperator, fuel filters, speed pump, automizer pump and then to injectors.
Just remove pipe and blow air to clean, drain water, replace filter if cloged and also clean fuel tank if you find more dust inside the pipes or filters.

My fiat uno 1993 model,Cuts out and struggles to get petrol through,I have replaced the feul filter.

Just check,
  • fuel pipe
  • fuel pump ,fuses, wiring
  • if mpfi engine, check the injectors.
  • spray some fuel line cleaners into fuel line, pcv, air filter

Put new fuel pump in tank of 1994 Jimmy. I can hear the pump run but fuel is not getting to the injectors. Is there different pumps that came fo rthis vehicle?

did you change feul filter? some of these will install backwards and will have no flow.is there enough feul in tank? did you replace or clean sock at bottom of feul pump

Changed feul pump feul filter changed computer. Van still shutdow

this could be a number of problems,check the voltage with a volt meter,not a test light at the fuel pump connection. make sure you have 12V,if so unhook the fuel supply line,turn key to ON not START, and make sure the pump will continue to flow,( obviously cqatch the fuel with a pail,or put a hose on it to pump it into a pail,don't let it leak all over the place.)if the pump continues to flow with out shutting off,your pump,filter,and electrical for your pump is ok.it could be a restriction in the return line,or the regulator may not be functioning.un hook the return line as close to engine as possible,install hose on it and route to a pail to catch fuel,with supply line hooked back up,start van and see if it works,if it keepd shutting off,you've now eliminated return line problems.check the regulator.

Feul return line

The return line is not the one that comes from the fuel filter.
