My monitor pops up a stupid dialog box every 2 minutes or so that says "Acer eColor Management" and then disappears on its own or I have to press a monitor button.

I too am facing a similar problem. Mine is Acer AL1916W (Black) 19' LCD Monitor. The "Acer eColor Management" menu automatically opens and again disappears (mostly, but sometimes I have to hide it manually). I too am facing a similar problem.
