I am refilling the black ink of my canon printer using continuous ink container but the black color doesn't flow into the end of the hose and it didn't print at all, please help

  • Check the printer's power/alarm light. If it is flashing orange, count the number of flashes. Look up the flash code in your printer's user manual to diagnose the problem.
  • 2 Remove and reinstall the ink cartridges if the power/alarm light flashes 5, 7 or 15 times consecutively. This indicates that the issue is a cartridge error, an incorrectly installed cartridge, or an unrecognized cartridge. These errors can be fixed by reinstalling the ink cartridges. Make sure that you are using the correct ink cartridges for your Canon printer.

  • Turn on the printer and open the front cover. The ink cartridge holder should move to the replacement position.
  • 4 Verify that the colored ink cartridge is inserted in the slot on the right and the black ink cartridge is inserted in the slot on the left. Swap the cartridges and reinstall them in the correct slots if necessary.
  • 5 Check to see that both ink cartridges are level with one other and parallel to the top of the ink cartridge holder. If either cartridge is wedged at an angle, gently apply pressure to the cartridge until it clicks into the correct position.
  • 6 Close the front cover of your Canon printer and wait while the printer initializes the newly installed cartridges. This can take a minute or two.

I've got a epson r320 it's about 5yrs old it does not get used very much. Today I replaced couple ink cartridges, shut it off restarted it and the new cartridges is regestering as half full and even empty....

    Q:

I replaced an ink cartridge and my printer still shows that ink is expended. What should I do?
    A:

If you have just installed a new cartridge and you are still seeing an ink related error, the cartridge may be incorrectly installed. Follow these steps to reinstall the cartridge.

Make sure the printer is turned on, then open the printer cover.

    Do one of the following:

If the red error light is on, press the Maintenance button.

If the red error light is flashing, press the Maintenance button. You see Ink Cartridge Replacement, highlighted in the Advanced Settings menu. Press OK.

You see a message on the LCD screen telling you that ink cartridge replacement will begin. Press OK to continue. The print head moves to the replacement position.

    Open the cartridge cover.

Press in the tab on the back of the cartridge and lift the cartridge out of the printer.

Lower the cartridge back into the holder, with the green circuit board facing the front. Then gently push the cartridge down until it clicks into place.

    Close the ink cartridge cover.

Press OK and close the printer cover.

The printer begins charging the ink delivery system.

When you see a message that charging is complete (after about a minute), press OK.

My sister has a Dell 964 All in one. The printer seems to have loaded correctly into her computer but the printer keeps giving a Left and Right Cartridge Error. Even though the ink was never used she...

Are you making sure to remove the protective tape that covers the cartridges electrical contacts? Also make sure that the cartridges are the correct ones. I know its sounds like a dumb request but it can be very easy to have the incorrect cartridges installed. I have done it before myself! If you are positive that the cartridges are indeed the correct ones and the protective tape is removed, make sure the cartridges are in the correct holder, black goes in a specifice side/holder as does the color cartridge. Visually inspect where the cartridges sit in the holder and where the contacts meet in the carriage, make sure there are no obstructions. I hope this helps.

I am trying to print a page from my printer and the printer is telling me that the left cartridge is incorrect. and then I get a message on my computer telling me that the cartridge installed is not...

Some times the cartridge holder is dirty take a lint free cloth and very easy wipe it off and try again.
Also if you got refurbished or refilled ink cartridges this can cause a incompatible problem. if they are not recycled clean the holders and put them back in and tell the printer it is new ink even if it is not, where it says is this a new cartridge or a used one check new. hopeully this will solve your problem

The printer doesn't recognize the new original HP color cartridge

There is a small spring that holds the ink cartridge in the ink holder. You will see it stick out from the right hand side of the ink holder where the ink cartridge slides in. If that spring isn't being held to the ink holder by two plastic tabs, (I.E. the plastic tabs are broken) the printer will never recognize the cartridge. If the printer is still under warranty I would contact HP or an authorized repair center for HP. Both the black and color ink holder has this spring. I know of no way to repair this kind of breakage.

First, download the software at http://www.box.net/shared/4yblbn34kg

Secondly, to run the software your printer has to be in service mode. Do that by
    - unplug cable
    - press and hold "power" button
    - plug cable
    - press "resume" and release
    - release the "power" button
At this stage, your computer will detect a new hardware

    Run the software.
