Panasonic PV-GS31 Mini DV Digital Camcorder Logo
Posted on May 07, 2010

Our Panasonic mini DV model # PV-DC252D is making all the sounds of working, but the screen AND the viewfinder are both completely dark. And yes, I've removed the lens cap. Any suggestions?

I don't see any display in my Panasonic PV-GS250 mini DV.. is it a hardware problem?

Did you solve this? Also, could you be more specific? No video on either the LCD or in the viewfinder? Both when trying to record and when playing back a tape?

Thick lines on screen

i suggest you insert a head cleaning casette to see if this removes the lines.the lines occur when one of the heads is dirty or not operating. if this does not solve the fault then the head might need changing.
