The Protectiopn circut is working

Last time when we started the Projector (Mitsubishi XL1XU) the "Power" Indicator was red an the "Lamp" indicator was green blinking, the Manual said if the Lamp Indicator stop blinking push power. If this not work replace the Lamp, we bought a new lamp but nothing happens same state as before. Reseting the Lamp timer had no effect same state.

Hope my english is not too bad, and you can understand my problem.

Maybe someone could help me with my problem

    Maybe, i have pressed < > and Power at the same time, but nothing happens, or is it another sequence

    I pressed the Buttons in this sequence i wrote, after that the Temp indicator lights green for a moment. Same State as before.



    I tried pressing up and down and power, nothing happens.



    Is there an sequence to set the projector on factory defaults or something like that, maybe a user presed some buttons on the remote, or something like that.

    I bought a used Mitsubishi XL1XU and since I received it, it had a "change lamp" instruction as I turned it on. When I contacted the seller, I was told the lamp's been changed but I need to reset the timer which I ignored. I barely used it (possibly 10 times) when it turned off one day. The indicator on the lamp now is red. Is there a way to check if the lamp's truely been changed and reset the timer (manual wasn't sent with product). Thank you

I have the same problem with multiple XL1XUs. I have 4 that give a solid red light and blinking green lamp light even after installing a brand new bulb and resetting the timer.

What gives?

Did you check that your lamp hours were actually reset ?

    No that is the right sequence , did the indicator lihgt flicker twice after you did this ?



    Basically this model has what they call a new keypad and a old keypad.



    The new keypad is the way you described your resetting and the old is hold up and down arrow keys in and press the power button.

Hi, Our Sony Bravia TV model number KDF E50A11E is not working. There is a red blinking light flashes three times and then goes green and then red blinking again after about 3 seconds. Is this a bulb...
On that particular model I believe there is both a lamp indicator light and then the power indicator light. If it is lamp related the lamp indicator light (LED that looks like a sun in a cup...) would be on.

If the power indicator light is flashing red to green, that is a self diagnostic code, and you will have to contact an authorized Sony repair fascility for them to translate the problem. The error codes are not listed in the user manual, since most are not user serviceable.

It sounds like your lamp may need replacing. Before you go that route try all of these:
-Make sure the lamp cover on the bottom is fully attached. -If you unplug the power cord while the fan is rotating, the lamp may not turn on about 1 minute when you plug the power cord next time. After the status indicator stops blinking press the power button to turn it back on. May have to press it multiple times. -If your Power Light continues to blink red/green then you should contact your dealer.

Power indicator /red/ and warning led/red/ are lighting after ea 15 sec. a lamp never start and fans goes in OFF mode. I checked power supply lines S5V,S-5V,S16V on the Main Board . I checked unit lamp...
If power indicator light red and warning indicator red flashing than according to user manual :-
The projector has been cooled down enough and the temperature returns to normal. When turning ON the projector the WARNING indicator stops flashing. CHECK AND CLEAN THE AIR FILTER.
Experience:- 1. if the temperature is very low than temperature sensor maybe misbehave.
2. If anyone fan not working
so please you check fans.
(If lamp or lamp ballast unit faulty than after a time period the lamp indicator light ON not a warning indicator. I experience many times if any fan in projector are broken or jamed the temperature light if present otherwise warning light ON or flashing)

After changing the bulb image will not come on and solid orange light appears
Other then POWER BUTTON light there are three lights more
1. lamp indicator
2. temperature indicator
3. computer input
witch one light is flashing RED or illuminated RED with POWER BUTTON orange light.
If LAMP INDICATOR light is illuminated RED than lamp runtime has reached 1800 hours. but projector still working.
If LAMP INDICATOR light flashing RED than lamp circuit failure, or abnormal function or lamp unit is damaged. In this case projector doing the same behave just like your projector.
if TEMPERATURE indicator illuminating RED the projector still projecting and if flashing RED than turned of itself

Hi there

The most common cause for a Ballast to go faulty is power failures & power spikes and off course lightning.

I normally advise my clients to hook up a UPS to the Projector just to make the power supplied to the Projector more even and smooth.

Ballast problems however occurs more than often on any model of Mitsubishi I have found.
