When you install developer you must enter code 25-2 and wait for about 3 minutes to turn motor and DV unit and copier will scence ATC sensor ,then turn off and on .

Question edited for clarity, 'sharp at 5516' to 'Sharp AR-5516'.

Remove the toner cartridge and clean the contacts on both the cartridge and the copier with alcohol. Tap the cartridge on both ends to settle the toner. Make sure you are using genuine Sharp replacements.

My Sharp Copier Model AR-M160 showing f2 error even I replace the new tonner.

Below are the F2 errors and causes for Sharp AR-M160

"F2-31" Image density sensor fault
"F2-32" Drum mark sensor fault
"F2-33" Grid voltage correction problem
"F2-35" Grid voltage correction problem
"F2-37" Drum mark sensor fault

Cause : CRUM chip defect OR Improper developing unit
Check and remedy : As you have already replaced the tonner, we can suggest Replace the CRUM chip,Replace the developing unit

I' ve a problem with copier ar 5516. i need information about using of developer. where i must to put the developer? the toner AR-021FT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THIS COPIER?

yes ar021FT toner compatible for your 5516. when replacing the developer:1) pull out the toner cartridge,2) pull out developing unit with 1 screw (blue),3) in developing unit remove 2 screws (blue) to open its top cover,4) drain d unit and replesnish with new developer. do procedure 4 to 1 to return. Good luck.

AR 5516S SHARP COPIER IS SHOWING F2 4O FAULT CODE DURRING INSTALATION. WHAT COULD BE THE CAUSE. PLEASE.

During installation , use sharp ar205 developer and sharp ar021 toner cartridge. This shows you did not use developer or used the wrong ones, good luck.

My sharp copier AR-205 will not copy and the letter CH or showing up

Install the developer unit and toner cartridge properly and close the copier side covers well ie the front and the right covers.
