Pc doesn't boot stops at set up

Press F2 to enter BIOS setup at startup. You can set which devices appear in the list from the boot menu.

try booting in safe mode by tapping f8 during boot

You will need to use the recovery discs that came with the computer and boot from the disc and it will give you the option to restore to factory defaults. If you dont have the discs you will need to contact Acer to get a copy.

Mine had the same problem. I left it on for 30 mins and it finally booted.
Have you tried the step of removing battery and unpluging power supply for at least ten minutes ?

Hello jamesruss590, this is material issues so first try to change your memory RAM and boot the pc again try this and answer me.

can you tap F8 while it is booting and start in safemode or select boot with last good know configuration?  

sound like the hard drive. do you hear the drive spinning?? you may need replace or reformat.

what OS are you running....?

Fixed it by booting without any USB devices. Once booted, plug your USB mouse...
