in 15pin connector of the monitor, red wire goes to pin No:1 green wire goes to pin no:2 blue wire goes to pin no:3 yellow wire goes to pin no:13 white wire goes to pin no:14 and black wire goes to 5&15. Now display will come!
Starting on page 15 are the directions for the monitor controls. Page 17 indicates a "RESET" feture to Clear the Old-Statuses of "Auto-Configuration". There are quite a number of setting for this monitor.
The acer LCD monitor is plug and play.You don't need a driver.But unless you have a graphics card that supports at least 1440x900 you have problems. Also if your card has a div connection, use that instead of the analog connector, The monitor comes with that connector. Use the old one to connect a second CRT monitor if you want. Don't connect both to the lcd monitor and to the computer unless you are using a second monitor. Like everything these days, every purchase seems to need an upgrade of sorts, On board graphics **** anyway. Buy at least a 128 MB graphic card with a digital connector and more RAM never goes astray.....
