2 gig go gear frozen and caused computer problem

I use Vista with my watch and it works great. Just turn on the watch and hook it to your computer and you should get an AutoPlay box to come up. If you drop down to 'Open folder to view Files', it will show you what's on your watch. This is drag and drop, so if you have your music on your computer, you can load songs on your player that way instead of using the 'import music' links at the top of the AutoPlay box.

My Archos 1 Vision. Wont play a particular music file. It has played it amazingly fine since i bought it 3 months ago. It was connected to my computer charging for a while, then i turned my system off so it was off for a while.
Wanted to listen to a few songs before bed,turned it on,selected Music,Scrolled down to the file i wanted,Went to select a song.........FROZEN! I can turn it off but the same thing happens everytime i go to select something from this file
Please help i need music on my travels ;-)

Try the following steps:

Resetting the device:
1. Press and hold the Power/Menu button for approximately 20 seconds.
2. Release the Power/Menu button.
3. Press the Power/Menu button again to turn on the player.

NOTE: Resetting will turn the player off while it is frozen.

If that doesn't work, then you may download and install the Sansa Firmware Updater and update to the latest firmware.

What does that mean - "music db" ? I put all of my music on my 1 Gig and it works great. I put all Harry Potters audio books on my 8 GIG and still have 1.5 gig left for music.

It sounds like you have a corrupted file. The solution would be to either locate the file that your MP3 Player is freezing on and delete it or format your mp3 players drive.

You cannot recover the songs, but you can try the firmware upgrade from Philips website

Yahoo jukebox was bought out by Rhapsody. I had the same problem and their only solution was for me to buy a Rhapsody subscription. I know this is not the solution you want to hear but that seems to be the only way to keep any music that was stored using the yahoo jukebox.

The only solution I have for this problem, is that your mp4 player does not support the type of file you download onto.

Maybe you put mp3 files and your player cannot read them cause its not supported by your player.
