I have been having some trouble with my printer not reading what I'm asking it to print. We had to reset it to Factory Settings, and it's been doing fine. Today I was printing business cards and changed the paper to feed from tray 1 -- manual feed. It did a couple, then the above message began appearing on everything I've sent.
Did you reinstall the printer drivers on the pc? I have found that if you are having difficulty with a printer which uses a pcl 6 driver, if you change it to pcl 5 driver it usually solves the problem. You do get a loss of functionality though but it is usually only with the advanced settings which most people dont take advantage of anyway. HP pcl6 drivers are very often buggy.

here are the steps to remedy the problem:
1.right click the printer and go to the properties.
2.click on the advanced tab and uncheck 'enabled printing features'
3.click on the general tab and click on 'printing preferences'
4.click on the 'advanced' tab and disable the 'print optimizations'
hopefully it works for you guys.
cheers.

Sounds like a driver issue. Go to:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=1845552&taskId=135&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=1845551&lang=en&cc=us&submit=Go%20%C2%BB
and download the driver; then uninstall and reinstall the printer using the downloaded driver.
