Check the voltage at the contactor where the 24 vac connects to the coil for the contactor so you can see if it is making it that far. It will be 2 smaller wires that are not connected to the 240 vac. Let me know if you have 24 vac there. The thermostat will have to be calling for air for the 24 vac to be present. let me know what you find.

Back in the winter the heat pump quit working so I used the heat strip. The temp has rizen so I turned the air on no go. The unit inside comes on but the unit outside does not neither does the contactor. I have 240 going to the out side unit and 26 volts on the power for the control board.
If you set the thermostat inside low enough for the a/c to kick on does the indoor fan come on? Check the outside unit, is the contactor pulled in? Check these 2 things and let me know what you find.
