Which driver did you try to install?
Try this one;
http://www.treiberupdate.de/treiber-download/download-159429-treiber-Hanshing-HS308.html
Click halfway down where it says "treiber download" - sorry website is in German - the driver itself once downloaded is all in English.
If you still need to contact Hanshing, you can email them from this link;
http://www.hanshing.com/
click on "contact us" at the top right
Hope this helps :)
If there is an option called "computer" "storage" "mass storage" or something like that on the camera, set it to that setting before plugging it in to the computer.
Once you plug it into the computer, your PC should recognize the camera and install the necessary drivers.
Those kinds of cams most of the time, unless they are able to be used as a webcam, do not "send" or "receive" any information over the usb cable unless they are on the correct setting, which is probably why your computer isnt seeing it.
I hope that this helps to solve your problem, good luck!
If using XP should not need software. The cam is seen as an external disk drive when coupled to the usb port.
Go to the "new" disk drive , open...and drag and drop in the usual way.
If your computer is Win ME/2000/XP/Vista
The CD is not needed to upload images
Windows will do it all by its self.
