How does one.... 1.) copy all contacts from phone to simcard and 2.) from simcard to phone memory I have a Blackberry Storm 9530

Under Contacts press the Menu button, you will have a copy option where you can select from SIM card to Phone.
The Blackberry mobile software does not have an option to copy from the phone to the SIM card.

Have a blackberry pearl and want to transfer the pictures on that sim card(1 GB)to the new blackberry torch phone

you can insert the memory card in blackberry torch, then go to file explorer in application and copy all the stuff in memory card to internal drive and paste it, or i suggest you leave the card in phone itself.
memory card is always a safer storage device than internal.

I have changed from nokia to blackberry bold. all my contacts on sd card - how can I import them to the blackberry contacts

You have the easiest option to copy all your contacts to your sim card and then copy it back to black berry. In order to do this you simply have to go to your phone book options and in the settgings you will find copy contacts to sim and then put the same sim in black berry and select copy contacts from sim.If your contacts are more than the capacity of your sim then you can select the contacts to copy and you have to do this twice or thrice depending on your sim's memory.

I need to copy the contact list from Samsung phone memory to the

you need a third party program to do this, look for the application like pim back up, contacts backup and download it from your phone to install, run the program and back up the contacts. but you need to install this program to both phones.
hence if you cannot find one, use your sim card's utility. copy the contacts to your sim, insert it to your blackberry and copy the contacts from your sim to your blackberry.
i am afraid there is still no way you can back up your contact list in your samsung phone to your memory card. even if you use your samsung studio or samsung pc suite, there is no possible way to copy the save phonebook contacts to your blackberry, they have different file extensions. you can save your samsung contacts as npf, csv, or vcard extensions. you can save your contacts to your memory card as csv or vcard, but i just don't know if blackberry has the capability to browse and save the contacts in this file extension from your memory card.
so the only possible way is to back it up using your studio as vcard, and since blackberry can sync to outlook, you can sync your phone book contacts from outlook to your blackberry..
take care..

Unlocked 8700c blackberry sim card info not showing

Yes, the blackberry and SIM memory are different.

You will need to copy all contacts onto the BB memory to make full use of its features.

You can do this by going to address book /Options/ SIM Contacts and Copy All to address book.
