Error 05 hi can you tell me how to drain the machine please???

Clogged drain pump.
Check the drain pump filter. Use a flashligth and you will se if the impeller is stuck on something. If not check the hose from the drum to the drainpump housing. May be clogged.
If not, replace drainpump

Error F5 means that the pressure switch is jammed on full. This may have happened due to blockage or obstruction in drain hose. To be sure check whether hose is plugged, if not then remove lower rear panel of the washer.
Now you would be able to see drain pump and a large black hose on bottom of drum. Remove the hose from the pump; remember to keep a container near you to collect the water from the filter/pump. Remove and clean the drain filter connected with the pump and hose. Clean the pump and let it dry for a while. Now restart the washer after 2-5 minutes and your issue would be resolved. An F-05 error message means that the pressure switch is jammed on empty or a problem with pump.


The fault is associated with drain out (pump blocked or restricted in some way).

Small panel at rear of machine reveals the pump, pull of the two pipes (Plastic clips hard to get off, slide them sideways), remove wire and unclip pump from base of machine by lifting locking tab and sliding to the left, pump can then easily be cleaned.

You need to check the pump assembly, and check to see if the pump is blocked.. Then unplug for 2 mins, and try again

f05 means blockage and cannot drain-switch off at mains to reset error-turn to drain if pump runs but dont drain filter in sump blocked/if no pump action then somthing is jammed inn pump

You have a blockage not allowing the drum to empty.
Check for blockages via the pump filter and the hoses
F05 means blocked pressure switch
If it still won't work come back to me

Try first cutting power to the machine for two minutes, if that reset the code, then the problem was temporary.

If not :

Check if the machine drained, or if water is not being drained.

If drain system works .take off the the lid , locate the switch, it must have a small hose attached.
Remove the rubber hose attached to it, and unlock it by blowing into the hose.

If the water does not drain, this will also cause the pressure switch error.
In this case check the drain hose , and the drain pump.

Finally, ta faulty timer control board can cause the error, you test the control PCB if lid switch and drain system are OK.
