You should search for small wireless USB dongle (receiver) and insert it into USB port of your laptop. You bought The dongle with mouse. Sometimes it is placed inside mouse on bottom side. See picture.
A mouse driver is usually installed automatically in a while after the dongle is connected to PC.
"DONGLE" is usually that thing which is attached through one connector to computer, usb, com or even lpt.
In your case, is a little usb which must be inserted in usb.....
According to the mouse's manual ha ha!... sorry I'm being sarcastic... but What type of mouse??? (USB or blue tooth)???, to what type of PC ( Windoze, MAC or LINUX)??? what is the model of the LOGITECH cordless mouse???
Ths problem occurs because of usb drvier conflict issue with your usb wireless dongle driver.
For that go to device manager uninstall all usb drivers then it will automatic install all driver.
Then go to control panel->add remove program and features then uninstall your wireleless keyboard and mouse driver then reinstall.
Then restart and check.
Also try different usb ports of computer for connecting the usb wireless dongle of keyboard.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks for using FixYa.
If the mouse is freezing up though the batteries are fully charged, here's what you need to do:
1. Try to use different batteries just to make sure that it's not a power issue. 2. Connect the wireless USB dongle into different USB ports of the computer. 3. Try to connect the USB dongle in different computer and try to use the mouse (to make sure that it's not a computer issue). 4. Make sure that there's no cordless phone, cell phone and other wireless devices that might interfere the wireless signal.
The Logitech wireless mouse is running on 2.4MHz frequency, same frequency as the other wireless devices. Any wireless device might cause the mouse to freeze.
If same problem occur, then it's a hardware problem. Contact Logitech and RMA the mouse.
