Turn off sap

SAP is secondary audio program---It can be turned off or on in a possible two places.

On the set in the audio menu (most original remotes have a SAP or MTS button for this but in the set menu it can also be adjusted on or off.

If you are using a cable or Sat box or even a receiver the box will have the SAME feature built into it--yes Sap can come from a cable box or sat or receiver.

How to I disable the SAP function on RCA FLAT 19 INCH screen?

Hello
From its main Menu, surf towards its sound Menu.
By using UP/DOWN buttons of the remote handset, select SAP

SAP (Second Audio Program) (for analog channels only) Plays the

program's audio in a second language, if one is available. The TV displays

the word SAP in the channel banner when you tune to a program that is

broadcast with SAP information. SAP audio is broadcast in mono. SAP is also

used to broadcast a program's audio with descriptions of the video for the
visually impaired. Press the right arrow button to turn SAP on or off.
OK.

How do I turn off the SAP? My mom somehow turned it on and now only gets sound on some of her channels and some in spanish!

U have the original tv remote?Yes.Look for it on the remote for a button that said SAP pushes to turn it off.If u don't have the tv original remote, might could also be turn it off inside the tv internal Menu functions setup, but probally not because the SAP design in tvs are mostly just a SAP button on the tvs original remote design only.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote.

Model #VV2000 S # BOAA20050 CHANNEL SPEAKING SPANISH... NEED TO CHANGE TO ENGLISH QUASAR TV

Use your remote control to check the TV SAP settings. This is "second audio program" and is often used to carry the TV sound in another language. If SAP is turned on you won't notice it unless you tune to a channel where the SAP signal is present. Most remotes have a single button to control the audio settings, so it's easy to turn the feature on without knowing it by bumping the button. Turn off SAP and you should be back to English.

Sound

SAP is short for "second audio program" and is a way to send a second audio track along with the main one. In many areas stations use SAP to provide Spanish or other language sound for movies and other programs. If you have SAP turned on you don't know it until you tune to a channel where it's being used, and then you hear the other sound. Just turn SAP off using the remote control or TV menu.
