Annoying buzz!!! hi there i have an annoying buzz coming from the built in speaker. i originally thought it may have been just the power, but it makes no noise when on mute! you can hear it clearly when its on low volume. Any ideas? please help me :o)

Audio failed with a loud buzz, may be capacitor failure. TV about 3 years old.

Just brought the new tv home and connected it last night. Did not notice any noise at all until this morning. It quits buzzing when the speakers are muted, and is louder as the volume is turned up. I will try to troubleshoot when I get home from work. Thanks for the advice.

Be certain its not your cable providing the noise by being ungrounded .or interference from some other device connected or around tv.
disconnect everything except the cable.
turn off all dimmer lighting around tv. try now.
are you using a cable box, if so bypass ,plug cable directly into tv.
try sound again.
then remove cable and plug in dvd or vcr. and try audio now.
if it continues no matter,
its a warranty repair or just use external speakers ,cable boxes can control the audio to ext speakers.

My soundsticks III Make a buzzing sounds only once i connect the connector to my comp.

Hi, I faced the same problem before. I wiped the 2 satellite speakers down with an anti-static cloth and then did the same for the plug that can be connected to my computer. Make sure to also clear any dust away from your set-up. After that, the annoying buzzing sound should go away, it did for me. Good luck!

Hi, I get a buzzing sound coming from my s8.3 when it's plugged into the power outlet. No other cable are connected, it's only plugged into power outlet. Any suggestions? thank you!

I also had a severe hum or buzz that was NOT a ground fault loop issue or any other such problem.

Hummed to the point that reading in the family room was annoying !

I took my amp to a Very Qualified shop and the technician simply insulated the transformer 40.00 usd

Hi there! i just bought a numark tt1650 and an ortofon arkiv cartridge, connected it properly to my old technics a700mk2 amplifier (phono, grounding and all that) but it still has a buzzing problem...

Try connecting the turntable to one of the other inputs like CD / tuner etc and see if the buzzing disappears. if so then your turntable has a built-in pre-amp so it can be connected to any input except 'phono' as this would obviously be used for turntables without a pre-amp.
a lot of modern turntables now have built-in pre-amps to compensate for certain amps and receivers made without a phono input and can now be connected just like a CD player, tuner etc.

hope this helps.

Annoying buzz coming out

i have a similar problem, and i've seen loads of stories about the same problem from these speakers, it's a shame because otherwise these speakers are pretty good :(

The speakers seem to pick up interference, especially when the volume is low, they also sometimes give out periodic buzzes, but this could be individual faults with equipment.

There's always a bzzz sound coming out when plugged in.

if there's buzzing coming out, there's probably a rip in the actual speakers. Something is torn on the inside thus the weird buzzing noise.

Unless it was a zzzzzzzzz...... noise then there's probably some sort of interference. Possibly cellphone close by, or some other magnetic thing to create that annoying sound.

Nad c270 buzzing in amp

The buzzing is coming from the transformer. It is almost expected of an amplifier of this size, that the transformer (a large one) will excite the resonance of the casework and make some noise.
