"I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button. Check out some of my other posts if you need more tips and info." Tablet keeps turning off
I suppose this is some cheap android tablet. If the power button does not turn the tablet on, try plugging in different chargers and cables. Perhaps the battery is not charged. If the tablet has been dead for awhile it might take awhile to charge the device up enough to turn the screen on. So, try cleaning the charge connector with some alcohol and check it for damage and allow port to dry before plugging in any power. Just experiment by moving the power cord around and perhaps the connector is loose pr something. I suggest leaving the cord plugged in even for days or hours because it can take different devices a long time to charge if they are flat.
I don't know if this is available on that model. Give it a try. Press and hold the power button until you get the menu with the option to power it off. Press and hold your finger on the option to power it off for a few seconds. Hopefully you get an option to reboot the tablet into safe mode. This mode will disable all third party apps on the tablet. See if it freezes up. If it doesn't one of the apps is causing it to hang. This will at least tell you if the tablet itself is bad or if it is a problem with an app.
You need to update your tablet, or update the programming on your tablet. Apparently all the android 2.2 tabs are considered "legacy" models and don't support the newest google and java script. Since this is what the net primarily uses, those of us with the Cruz are hosed.
try pressing F8 then safe mode with command prompt after that when the windows is open type chkdsk on the command prompt. then after its finished scanning press quit, if it has an error type chkdsk/f to fix the problem.
if you cant afford to get it repaired, then check the processor, hdd, ram slots to ensure that they are all in their fixed possitions,
the problem may be that a module of ram has come loose or your processor has, if they haven't then get yourself a digital multimeter and learn about computer electronics,, although buying a new computer maybe the quickest option.....
