you can= Clear the error code in service mode
but I would inspect the following first !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SERVICE MODE
press Additional Functions Key (once)
press #2 & 8 key at the same time (release both)
then press Additional Functions Key again (release it)COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEARERR Clears error codes.
(Cleared error codes: E000, E001, E002, E003)
Operation method
1) Select this item, and press the OK key.
2) Turn the main power OFF/ON
--------------------------------------------- E003 with a sub code of 0002, which indicates that the machine detected an abnormally low temperature when the fixing heater is turned on.
Check the temperature in service mode and see if the readings for the sub thermistors under Display for FIX-E and FIX-E2 would bounce back an forth between 0 and 36 degrees repeatedly.
1-Faulty Fixing Film Unit
2-DC Controller and DC Driver NOTE:
Before replacing such things as, the entire Fixing unit, the DC Driver PCB, AC Driver PCB, and DCON; check SW3 and it's right door actuator.
In some cases SW3 has been found to also cause E003-0002 codes (also sub code 0000). SW3 is the Fixing unit's AC interlock switch.Sometimes the right door actuator will be bent and not fully press SW3 when the right door is closed. SW3 is a button switch located right above some of the Fixing unit's rear frame connections. SW3 has been found to show signs of wear and have carbon build up inside it. If the right door actuator is straight and making good contact , inspect SW3 and it's AC connections. If any flaws are found after inspecting SW3, replace it. SW3's part number is, FM2-9427-000.
The image below is for reference purposes only, it points out SW3 and it's right door actuator.
Code
E003-0000
Description
Abnormally low temperature (detected by main thermistor)
After the temperature detected by the main thermistor has reached the specified value, it does not reach the specified value during initial rotation.
Remedy
- Check the connector of the fixing film unit. - Replace the fixing film unit. - Replace the DC controller PCB.

Click start control panel
administrative tools computer management then select event viewer this may vary
depending on what operating system you have
extend the events there you
will see errors in red you will no what exactly what the error was and at what
time it occurred
Right click on the error
message select properties you will see all details about the error
or click start type in

this should give you some
sort of understanding of the error and
you might
be able work your way through the problem
Title : E003-0000 is displayed upon recovery from sleep mode
Error :
E003-0000 is displayed upon recovery from sleep mode
Workaround :
When a machine is in sleep mode and is recovered an error code
"E003-0000" was displayed.
It is caused during the fixing temperature control at
recovery from sleep mode, electrical noise affected the thermistor.
In order to increase the length of time for idle rotation of the drum (by 30
sec) at start-up and prevent electrical noise from affecting the thermistor,
make the following selection:
Service mode (Level 2)> COPIER> OPTION> BODY> DRM-IDL = change the
setting to '3'
Note: The length of time for idle rotation is being increased by 30 sec.
This mode will delay start of the machine by 30 sec.

Title : E003
Error :
E003-0000 Error Code can be displayed when the reading of the main thermistor
is below 70 deg. C for 2 sec. after it has exceeded 100 deg. C.
Workaround :
1. Although the fixing heater or the temperature-detecting thermistor may be
faulty, before replacing these parts, check J508 on the DC controller PCB for
poor contact and refit it if necessary.
2. Make the following selections to clear the error code: [Service mode >
COPIER > Function > CLEAR > ERR > OK]
E002/E000/E003/E261/E733 Error code: Due to AC line noise Error Code
Symptom
E002/E000/E003/E261/E733: due to AC line noise.
Description
E002/E000/E003/E261/E733 occur due to AC line noise. If the above error codes are frequently recorded in the error log, they might concern AC line noise.
Cause
When the machine tries to detect a Zero-cross signal of AC line, it will fail if a noise occurred around the zero-cross point. Since the fixing temperature is controlled based on the zero-cross signal, there is a possibility that the fixing temperature could not rise properly if a noise occurs several times.
Field Remedy
Replace the Switching Regulator PCB ***'y with a new one. 120V: FH3-2613 220V/240V: FH3-2614 The circuit has been modified to resist a noise.
REMEDY
Caution Press (* then 2 and 8 together then *)you are in service mode monitor:To clear the error, execute the following in service mode: COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR.
E002 Error code details Heater temperature error (fails to reachspecific level; inadequate increase)
0000 The temperature of the fixing film is as follows: 1. has exceeded 100°C, but does not reach 115°C within 1 sec thereafter. 2. has exceeded 140°C, but does not reach 150°C within 1 sec thereafter. 3. has exceeded 160°C, but does not reach 165°C within 1 sec thereafter.
Main cause The fixing film unit is faulty (i.e., the main thermistor TH1 has poor contact, or the fixing heater is faulty). The main power supply PCB is faulty. The DC controller PCB is faulty.
Caution To clear the error, execute the following in service mode: COPIER>FUNCTION>FCLEAR>ERR.
Action See the description for E003.
E003 Error code details Heater temperature error (abnormal drop; low-temperature detection)
0000 The main thermistor reading is lower than 140°C when paper is moved.
Main cause The fixing film unit is faulty (i.e., the main thermistor (TH1) has poor contact or has an open circuit; or, the fixing heater is faulty). The main power supply PCB is faulty. The DC controller PCB is faulty.
Caution To clear the error, execute the following in service mode: COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>ERR.
Action 1. State Turn on the power switch, and clear E002/E003. Thereafter, turn off and then on the power switch. Does the fixing heater operate? NO: See "The fixing heater fails to operate." 2. Wiring Is the wiring from the DC controller PCB to the fixing film unit normal? NO: Correct the wiring. 3. Fixing film unit, DC controller PCB Try replacing the fixing film unit. Is the problem corrected? YES: End. NO: Replace the DC controller PCB.

okay lets shed some light on the E000 error code on the D680, D880, IR1300 family ( including the 1310,1330,1370,1630,1670) The error code E00 is a memory threshold error what it means is your machine has logged 4 of the following errors, E001,E002, or E003. It is a lockout error and the machine cannot be used until the problem has been repaired or the errors cleared. First lets look at the errors: E001 fuser over temp means the fixing assy has exceeded the manufactures maximum temp limits E002 fuser temp dropout means the fixing assy has cooled below a set point during a copy session E003 fuser no response means the fixing assy didn't even attempt to warm up at power on How to fix, most common problem is bad power setting 4 E002's either brown outs of brief power failures. To clear the error, Enter service mode by pressing additional functions then the # button, use the left or right arrow buttons to scroll to #7 printer press set. again use the arrow buttons to scroll to #4 printer reset press set. press the appropriate arrow key under the YES to clear the error. unplug the copier and reboot. At this time normal function should return if not and it resets a E00 the you can assume either the fixing assy is bad or either the power supply PCB or DC controller is bad and it is getting E001,E003 errors. At that point id call a qualified tech to research the problem to avoid spending money on excess parts
