To me it looks terrible and have no idea to repair it. I don't think you can fix it. How did get the screen broken? I used
to repair a monitor from Dell. The CCFL lamps inside are broken. My screen is still OK. I would suggest that a new screen is a better choice for you if you have enough budget. Thank you

you probably broke it when you were taking it off. It has happened to me, now you need to get a replacement which is pretty expensive. ill suggest better get a used phone from craiglist, itllbe cheaper than the lcd.
What kind of phone? It will help to put your model here. With out the model, we are somewhat lost. General ideas.... Make sure the battery is charged. Go to the menu options and make sure the LCD is on, if there is an option to shut off the lcd. The screen LCD may be broken or cracked. One way to test for a cracked or broken screen is to put it in the sunlight with the power off. Slowly turn the phone from side to side and up and down looking at the screen. If it is broken or cracked you may see a difference in coloring of the surface under the glass or plastic cover.
If the phone works at all, and if you have a camera on it. take a picture, then down load it to your computer to view it. If the picture takes okay, then your lcd is either broken or cracked or disconnected within the phone, or some cable could be loose as well. Anyway, hope it works.
