I have a Kenmore HE3 frot load washer. When I start it, water gushes out of the bottom.

    Thanks,

It is the door seal. When I took the kick panel off, the door metal seal ring fell out. Now I just need to figure out how to re-install the ring.

Check your door seal first.,
take your kick panel off
3..... 7 millimeter screws or t15 torques
check your hoses
check your drain
more than likley it's your door seal
you can also take the lid off same way you took the kick panel off
let me know what you find

My kenmore elite quite pak 2, HE3 shows F then H and quits the cycle.

Hello,

The FH error code mean that no water was detected entering the machine. The things to check are,a pinched or kinked water hose into the washer, the faucets off or if faucets on make sure that something has not restricted the water flow through the hoses..this will be possible espically if they washer is connected using "AQUA FLOW FLOOD STOP" ..the internal flood stopper will cause water flow to be cutoff for no reason. Also check the filter screens on the back of the washer where the fill hoses connect to,for debris in the screens.

If all above checks ok i would suspect the part called the FLOWMETER was defective in the washing machine.

I have a Kenmore Elite Quiet Pack 2, HE3, model number 110.45872 400 front loading washing machine. When I start a cycle it stops and letters H and F alternately show on the screen. What does this mean?

i just had this problem... i did the following (should only take 30 minutes) take the panel off, that is located below the front door,, there are 3 small srews located at the bottom that hold this... then you will see the water pump, the water pump has a access srew plug, when you unscrew this, its like a filter, you may see stuff, like coins, socks, etc, remove and clean it, then put everything back... this should fix the issue.

check to see if there are any rips in the door seal, then take the bottom of the washer off you will see 3 screws holding it on. see if the water is coming out of the pump that is right behind the panel that you took off.

Error Code for Kenmore HE3

The "F" variables (F4-F16) are for electrical problems. You should select Pause/Cancel twice then select Drain/Spin if there is excessive water in the washer. Re-select cycle and press start. According to the manual, if the problem remains, call for service.
