I assume its a laptop. laptops some times get stuck keys, meaning one of the keys has not fully released after it was depressed. I recommend getting some compressed air in a can and give it a good cleaning. there might be something stopping git from popping back up. then give the keys a little work out. just mash the keys a bit. then turn it back on. if you still have an error, then you might want to consider replacing the keyboard. if you don't, it will not harm you pc in anyway...good luck

You have a key stuck on the keyboard. You can find the ste stuck key and pop it off and clean underneath it with air duster instead of a new keyboard. If you want to just buy a keyboard either way will work.

This means one or more of the keys on the keyboard is stuck down.
Look at the keys to see if one or more of the keys is lower than the others. If the key cannot be released or fixed then the keyboard needs to be replaced.
This problem can be caused by spill liquids on the keyboard.
Keyboard replacements can be purchased, please click on this link :-

I have an IBM Think Pad type 2373. whenever I turn the computer on I get an error: 0210: Stuck Key 01 It says to press F1 to fix it, I do this and nothing happens. Can you please help me fix this?

F1 may appear as a secondary key on your computer. When the error message starts, try first pushing the 'Fn' key (near Ctrl), and then clicking the F1 button. Then you can follow your computer's instructions to fix the problem.

When I switch on the system I am getting the message as "Error 0210: Stuck key 01 Press F1 for set up". What it means...? How to solve this...?

Hi there,

This is something to do with the BIOS setting. You may boot to the BIOS and set it back to factory setting and check if the issue persists. To enter BIOS press F2 key as you restart the computer. Once you boot into the BIOS reset to factory settings.

Post back if it is not working we will be happy to help you.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!!!!

When starting my Lenovo Think Pad laptop T400 there is an error message 0210 stuck key 50, what does this mean and what shall I do

Hi

Thank you for your query

Please try the following

1) Hook up a external keyoard to the USB/PS2 prot and see what happens

2) Press all the keys several times when the laptop is switched off to ensure that the keys are not stuck i.e. with debris etc etc

if this fails it would seem you have a bad keyboard, and would be looking at getting replaced

Please leave feedback/vote if my answer was helpful

Error 0210: Stuck Key 01

This is a system board POST/BIOS error code (nothing todo with Windows). The ERROR 210: is a standard POST (Power On Self Test) errormessage that indicates an error with the keyboard. The error condition is thata keyboard scan code was received from the keyboard when none was expected, after the keyboard was reset. If this occurs most of the time when you power on yoursystem, then it indicates that a key is sticking down or the key mechanical orelectrical parts are broken. Sometimes blowing out and cleaning out around thekeys will resolve this problem. Otherwise, you need to replace your keyboardwith a new (or at least a working) one.
