Have had a maxtor 80 gb external drive with one touch and retrospect express software. has worked ok for a few years but now!!!!!!!!!!!
if i try to open retrospect i get the following " application error - the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005).
have uninstalled and reinstalled with same result. did a repair on xp. same result.
question 1 - is there a fix?
" 2 - is there latter and better software i can buy that will work with my drive?
there is no problem with the maxtor drive - i have been backing up with microsoft backup. regards john malyon
