Ps3 not reading disc.. WTF

I will advice you clean the lens of your ps3 player, cleaning the lens of the ps3 player will make the ps3 player read the disc, if the problem is not solve after cleaning the lens, it means, you will need to replace the lens on your ps3, the lens might be weak that it can no longer read any disc or play any game. the two options above should fix the problem of your ps3.

The problem is that the lens of your ps3 is weak that it can no longer read any disc, i advice that you replace the lens on your ps3 so that your ps3 can continue to function as it use to function before.

Replace the lens on your ps3 and you will see that it will start reading the disc.

Make sure you have the settings right if you have it at 720p and your tv does 480i your not going to see the PS3 games

try and hold the power switch until you hear 2 beeps it should go into restore factory mod .... if that dont work try creating a new profile and deleting that demo/game if that dont work then you'll need to replace the disc drive ...there only 50 dollars on ebay

Dvd drive needs to be replaced.

Me too dude, down right disturbing. We are all getting F-ed!!!!

have an 80 gig machine, downloaded the aptch, played 1 game of CoD and it froze. WTF!!!

man i too have a proble mm mine ps3 stopped reading ps3 disc but it reads only ps2 and other disc. but wont read ps3.. disc i tried getting a new one but it didnt work

the thing of it is did u back up ur ps3 in ur setting if not then u r going to half to do that.
