Hi

disconnect the power cable and remove the battery and then press nad hold the power button for a minute. then connect every thing back and then see if the screen comes on.
in case it does not then again remove the battery and power cable and remove the hard drive and ram and put it back in again.
and then check still does not work see if the screen comes on an external moniter, still if it does not come on call ACER if it is under warrnty they would give you free repair.

Take out the battery and unplug the laptop. Hold down the Power button for 1min. Trust me this happens to me all the time and this is the only way I can fix it

shut down, unplug and remove battery.
plug back in and check it, if it still does not work
re-install wi-fi drivers .

Have you cleaned the fans lately? might be really clogged - you can you some compressed air usually you blow from the intake on the bottom of the laptop out the vents in back or side
