I bought nokia 5130 phonwe 3 days back...i switched it off and when i switch it on i find the battery power to become less than the initial battery power...y so????does initial battery charging when it is charged for the first time affect the battery performance????i dint charge the battery for long time on the day of purchase....pls solve my query....

2. Now Press following key sequence *#7370# or *#7780#
3. Enter Default lock code is 12345.
4. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.
5. Wait for message 'Format it

i think u should switch off your phone and it will charge smoothly till it full

What you have to do is to flash the phone, to flash the phone, you use the 3 button flash system.

1. Turn off the phone:
2. Press and hold the dial/green button, *(star) key and number 3 from your key pad at the same time,
3. Keep holding it as you press the power on button to switch on the phone and make sure you do not release the buttons,
4. A page will pop up like a formatting page, do not release the buttons until the formatting page is complete,
5. Then your phone will be back to the way it was when you first bought it.

That should remove any kind of lock code from the phone. That should do the job for you.

Warning this will erase everything on your phone. Make sure that you back up everything to an mmc card if possible
Switch of your phone
Press and hold these 3 keys together-
-green dial key-
-the star key(*)
-the number 3 key(very hard to do)
Press the on off switch to the phone
DO NOT let go of the keys until you see a formatting screen
After a few minutes the format will be complete,your phone will be back to factory settings
