I have a Kitchenaid Superba Microwave/Oven combo. I would like just 2 tones at the end of the cycle, but so far my only options have been either 'all tones' or 'no tones'. In fact, the manual I have, does not even mention anything about been able to turn the tones off or reduce the volume. I had to do much online searching because the 4 loud tones every minute demanded that I drop everything and attend to it first. Real headache! Anyone has any suggestions?

Disconnect it from power outlet for 30 minutes to hard reset the owen. It may be a faulty control panel or the fan thermistore switch.

Hit the options button and check that the "Sabbath mode" setting is off. I note that October 20th was a Tuesday but the internal clock year could be incorrect.

If you turn the center knob (marked 'time') to the right, it sets the timer; but if you turn it sufficiently far to the left, it goes into clock set mode. When you get to the correct time, press start.
