Please view this FixYa Tip which outlines the correct and exact procedure to enter the radio code for Renault. There is also a recommendation for a cheap way to obtain the code you require and reactivate the radio.

There should be a 14 character Serial Number beginning with RG or RN or PH or similar (often found stamped in the metal casing ) and maybe a Security Number in the format of TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode so please quote EVERYTHING you can find

The only solution is to remove the radio, get the serial number and phone the Philips. If it's the original radio then Daewoo used Philips radios.  Philips don't make radios any more but did put in pace a network of people who can access your code base on the s/n.  Don't bother with all the rubbish out there where people had published 30 + different codes or bother submitting your s/n to one of many sites who will gladly charge you top dollar. Really - the cost exceeds the residual value of an old radio and speakers.  When this happened with my son's Daewoo - the assigned Philips help man didn't charge and gave me the info over the phone.
To remove the radio - gently lever the centre black console that runs from above the gear stick up to around the dash area. It comes out in one piece. Just work away at it gently.  All the best.
